It has started a movement in the UK to introduce a law giving extra protection to all service dogs.

Though I haven’t done it in a few years now, I used to purchase copies of it to give to people I got to know at the local dog park. What a terrific read!

About a dog that was a POW in WW2 and subsequently awarded the Dickin Medal. Utterly compelling and inspiring reading.
For adult and older teenager readers due to some of the harrowing descriptions of POW treatment.

Any of Jon Katz’s dog books such as One Good Dog and The Dogs of Bedlam Farm. All excellent books. I have read each of these books a minimum of twice. Happy reading!
