Hi Lillian, we understand that finances are a big consideration for many people and that’s why we have a special offer available for my membership website…..its a $1USD trial for 3 days. You would be surprised how much you can learn within those 3 days, especially about the Dog Calming Code and how to apply it. Take a look at my website TheOnlineDogTrainer.com for details. All the Best, Doggy Dan

Hi Tony, if you are a member on my website still then remember we have a fantastic Forum where you can ask our expert Doggy Dan team for guidance if you need it. Limited vision can certainly lead a dog to feel more vulnerable in the outside world and so my advice is always to allow the dog more space around the things that may trigger them. How you start your walk off is also incredibly important, making sure to provide your dog with the right information can have a BIG impact on their behaviour on a walk…so be sure to spend time working on the stages leading up to going for walk with your dog. All the Best, Doggy Dan

Hi Nikky,
Some dogs are way too smart for their own good. If Murphy is putting himself in Time-Out after you ‘thank’ him the first time (Step 1) then just ignore him at that point as a Time-Out is not warranted. Also, it’s absolutely fine for you to have Murphy sleep in your bed, just make sure you invite him up there…rather than him getting up when he chooses. All the Best, Doggy Dan

I have a very intelligent pup. She has been threw alot in her life. I am training her but she is over loving with everyone and a bbig girl. She is doing quite well for onlly 3 1/2 months of being with me. She is still my challenge.

We adopted our dog about a year ago, I believe he’s a Black Mouthed Cur, he’s 7 years old and his vision is limited due to cataracts. I think his behavior is due to his vision problems. Your thoughts?

It got to the point when I would tell my dog (Murphy) thank you when barking, he would take himself straight to time out.
I was also unsure about the kind of relationship that I wanted with his verses the program. For example; I like him to sleep on my bed at night.
